Scholarship Information for Future Teachers

2010 - 2011

Don't miss out on a career that is your passion, just because you think you can't afford it. A little effort on your part can be very profitable! The list provided here includes just a few of the many awards available to you thru LCC, your transfer school and other organizations.

Note:

  • You should never have to pay a fee to apply for a scholarship

  • Scholarship awards are often posted for a limited period of time. For example, the application for a scholarship due in March may not be available until January or February.

  • Most college/university awards are renewable

  • Not included in this list are the many churches, business, and community groups that may offer financial assistance to students who are members or related to members of those organizations
