StrengthsFinder 2.0
This 8-hour workshop helps you identify your strengths and develop an
action plan to capitalize on them. The focus is on developing your
existing talents into even greater strengths. Workgroups discuss how to
apply strengths and improve performance -- individually and
organizationally. This workshop is based on the book, StrengthsFinder
2.0, or Strengths Based Leadership by Tom Rath.
Nearly a decade ago, Gallup unveiled the results of a landmark 30-year
research project that ignited a global conversation on the topic of
strengths. This research proved that great organizations recognize that
each employee is different, and it capitalizes on these differences. It
positions and develops each employee so that their talents are
identified and then transformed into bona fide strengths.
More than 3 million people have since taken Gallup's StrengthsFinder
Assessment, which forms the core of several books on this topic. With
strategies for applying your strengths, StrengthsFinder 2.0 will change
the way you look at yourself, your colleagues, and the unique
contributions employees can make to building a strengths culture at
work.
Note: All participants will need to complete the on-line survey before the session and bring their completed profile to this workshop.
Objectives:
After completing this training program, participants should be able to do the following:
- Describe and interpret their signature strengths as indicated in the StrengthsFinder on-line survey.
- Discover strategies for using their strengths for excellence in personal performance with their current job responsibilities.
