Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Curriculum Code: 0263  (Effective Fall 2000 - Summer 2002)

This certificate of achievement track to the Diagnostic Medical Sonography
program prepares students for examination by the American Registry of Diagnostic
Medical Sonographers. Students seeking an associate degree in DMS should follow
the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Associate in Applied Science Degree, curriculum
code 0790.

This is a selective admission program. In order to be considered as a candidate
for this program, students must have graduated from an accredited program of
Radiologic Technology, Registered Nursing, or Respiratory Therapy, and must also
meet basic admission requirements beyond those required for admission to the
College. Many of the courses for this program are open only to students
officially admitted to the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.

SUGGESTED COURSE SEQUENCE
Students are admitted to the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program in the summer
