Paramedic
Certificate of Achievement
Curriculum Code: 0272 (Effective Fall 2000 - Summer 2001)
This certificate program prepares the Basic EMT in advanced techniques of
administering care in life-threatening conditions. Paramedics are employed by
advanced life support ambulances and in emergency departments and critical
care units of hospitals. State licensing is required.
This is a selective admission program. In order to be considered as a
candidate for this program, students must meet basic admission requirements
beyond those required for admission to the college. Many of the courses for
this program are open only to students officially admitted to the Paramedic
Program.

and advising information may be found on page 8 of this catalog.

order to earn a Certificate of Achievement in the Paramedic Program.
