Correctional Officer
Certificate of Completion

Curriculum Code: 0840  (Effective Fall 2001 - Summer 2006)
This certificate option is designed to provide entry level skills for the person
who wishes to enter the job market as a State Correctional Officer at a
correctional facility. This curriculum meets the State of Michigan Corrections
Officer Vocational Certificate requirements.
 
PREREQUISITES

Course Schedule for course prerequisite information.  Basic skills assessment and
advising information may be found on page 8 of this catalog.

1.    Students must complete each of these courses with a minimum 2.0 grade to
      receive this certificate of completion as well as the Michigan Corrections
      Officer Vocational Certificate.

offer courses.  Students who for any reason are unable to follow the course
sequence suggested below (for example, those who are part-time, have transferred
in courses from another school, or have prerequisites to fulfill) should contact
