Precision Agriculture
Certificate of Achievement
Curriculum Code: 0852 (Effective Fall 2002 - Summer 2007)
Students completing this certificate will be prepared for entry level positions
in precision agriculture and sustainable development, and its various application
areas in the agribusiness arena. Positions as pest scouts, custom applicators,
technology resource technicians, and crop advisory specialists are a few of the
positions available. This certificate provides basic computer skills as well as
background and hands-on experience in GIS and GPS technologies.
