This program provides technical knowledge and skills to operate
machine tools used in the forming of metal components, as well
as the fabrication of special tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures
used in cutting, working and finishing metal components. It
prepares an individual for an entry-level position. |

Basic mechanical drafting skills are necessary to begin this
curriculum and may be demonstrated by a score of 80% or better
on the Drafting Placement Test or by passing CADD 100 with a 2.0
minimum grade. |
