This certificate curriculum is designed to
introduce students to the skills necessary for a pharmacy
technician position in a hospital or retail pharmacy. Students
will be prepared to function with knowledge and accuracy in
dispensing and control of drugs in either setting. Students are
prepared to take the Pharmacy Technician State Certification
Exam. |

Completion of MATH 050 with a 2.0 minimum or Math
Level 4 is required to enroll in this course.

average of 2.0 or above in all courses taken at the college to
receive this certificate. |
