This certificate is designed to enhance the
illustration skills of Computer Graphics and Graphic Design
majors and will also appeal to students who wish to build
illustration skills for entry-level positions in sequential art.
Sequential artists should expect to work as part of a
development team that may include animators, film and video
producers, graphic designers, or video game developers.
Sequential artists also have many opportunities for freelance
work. |

It is recommended that all students entering this
curriculum have computer experience in both Windows NT and
Macintosh Operating Systems. This experience may come from life
or work experience, or other studies, as well as CABS 100
Seminars - Introduction to Windows NT and Introduction to the
Macintosh. Students should consult with an advisor in the Art,
Design and Multimedia Program if they are not sure about their
computer skill level. |

SUGGESTED COURSE SEQUENCE |

Students should see course descriptions to find out when
departments plan to offer courses. Students who for any reason
are unable to follow the course sequence suggested below (for
example, those who are part-time, have transferred in courses
from another school, or have prerequisites to fulfill) should
