This certificate is intended for the entry-level technician as
well as the professional involved in the heating, ventilation
and air conditioning field to add a specialization in energy to
their credentials. Stationary energy technicians will be
involved in various aspects of the inventory, evaluation,
planning, design, installation, and maintenance of a wide
variety of energy producing systems. Technicians will deal with
the integration of current energy sources along with newly
developing energy distribution systems. The stationary energy
technician will need a working knowledge of ?green? building
concepts and energy efficient design principles. |
