At LCC, you will get the education you need to get started or move ahead in the areas of Alternative Energy Technologies, Architecture, Residential and Commercial Building, Civil and Geographic Informational Systems careers. LCC’s Design and Construction Technologies Program offers degree and certificate programs in all departments that can be completed within one or two years of study.
Interested in pursuing an architectural career but just not sure if it’s right for you? The Architecture Technologies Program at Lansing Community College offers students a comprehensive, two-year Associate of Applied Science Degree in the study of architecture or the opportunity to take just one or two courses for your individual interest or to upgrade a specific skill.
Interested in the new focus on Alternative Energies but not sure what it’s all about? Alternative energy students study wind, solar, geothermal, energy efficiency, and bio-mass/gas energy production systems to develop an understanding of the challenges and opportunities in developing a renewable energy economy.
Interested in mapping or the new world of electronic surveying using GIS technology? LCC offers a full course path for either an Associates in Applied Science or a Certificate in either focus.
Find yourself in the field of renovation and building? LCC’s residential building program teaches the essentials needed to construct single-family and multiple-family housing complexes such as apartment and condominiums.
