Do you know what it takes to be a Police Officer? This is a course rich in the study of the law: its cause and effects. Instilling personal pride and discipline, this class with a maximum of hands-on experience, will give students a taste of what it takes to serve and protect our community.

Students will have the opportunity to experience hands-on activities such as:

• K-9 Demonstration

• Handcuffing Exercises

• Finger Printing Exercises

• Evidence Collection

• Arrest Re-enactment

• Field trips to the Lansing Police Lock-up Facility, the Michigan Supreme Court, and the 54A District Court for an arraignment demonstration.

Based on the LCC Adult Police Academy classes, students will be physically active and engaged in many aspects of authentic police training.
