When tragedy strikes the trained professionals of the Emergency Medical Service respond with swift life saving knowledge. The EMS/Rescue Adademy will show you what it takes to train and serve in crisis situations as a first responder. Students will participate in emergency medical training, triage and staged “real life†emergency situations.
Students will have the opportunity to experience hands-on activities such as:

Field trips to the Lansing Police Lock-up Facility, the Michigan Supreme Court, and the 54A District Court for an arraignment demonstration.
Based on the LCC Adult Police Academy classes, students will be physically active and engaged in many aspects of authentic police training.
