Creepy Crawlies: Your Wild Neighborhood

Live specimens of a host of insects, frogs, snakes, turtles, and more will be
brought into the classroom. Students will have opportunities to hold and feed
many of them, while learning the identification, habits and habitat requirements
of each. The outdoors is the best nature classroom! Spend time each day
exploring the surrounding natural area and calling birds in for close looks.
Some insect pets will also be given to the students to take home, feed, tend,
and ultimately release when they've metamorphosed into adults.
Nature-enthusiasts are guided by a lifelong naturalist, hands-on, through our
rich world of small local wildlife.
