Do you know the real reason a pirate wears an eye patch? It might not be what you think! Separate truth from movie myth with tales of treasure and terror as we talk about pirate legends and pieces of eight. Investigate how pirates survived long months at sea. Students will recreate trade and treasure routes and learn how pirates steered their ships using only compasses, wind, and the stars.
