
Using YouTube Videos in ANGEL
YouTube recently changed how their videos work and this has caused some links to not work correctly. If you are experiencing problems with the YouTube videos in your course, follow the steps below to correct the links.
Option 1
- Navigate to the YouTube video you wish to use in your course.
- Select Share under the video on the YouTube site.
- Select Embed.
- Select and Copy the text (called source code) from the box that opened beneath the embed button.
- Navigate to your course in ANGEL.
- Select Add Content.
- Select Page.
- Select the Source icon (the last button) from the HTML toolbar.
- Paste the source code you copied in step 4.
- Select Save.
Option 2
- Navigate to your course in ANGEL.
- Select Add Content.
- Select Link.
- In the Title, enter the following text replacing the Link and link Title with your own:<a href = "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pHjzFWsd-Y" target = "_blank">Online Learning is the Future at LCC</a>
- Select Save.
***NOTE: In this option, you do not need to enter the target URL as it is located in the title.
