Teaching Online in D2L
Required Training for Instructors:
Instructors will automatically be assigned one of the required training courses based on the type of course that an Instructor has typically taught in the past.
No registration is required. If you do not see a training course when you log into D2L, please contact the LCC Help Desk at (517) 483-5221 or email@example.com.
- Teaching Online in D2L for Online & Hybrid Instructors: This online, self-paced training is designed to provide Instructors with the basic skills required to create, manage and deliver an online and/or hybrid course in D2L. This training takes approximately three hours to complete.
- Teaching Online in D2L for Face-to-Face Instructors: This online, self-paced training designed to provide Instructors who teach face-to-face courses with the basic skills needed to use the grade book and email functions as well as add a syllabus to a course in D2L. This training takes approximately one hour to complete.
***IMPORTANT NOTE: Workshops offered through the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) do NOT meet the training requirement.
