Financial Aid Appeal: Maximum Timeframe

If you have attempted more than 150% of the number of credits required for your declared program of study (this includes transfer credits, and credits attempted outside your major), you may use this appeal form to request an exception to reinstate your eligibility for financial aid.


Educational Development Plans (EDPs) are required. Prior to submitting this appeal online, you must have an up-to-date EDP which matches your declared program of study on file from Academic Advising. If you do not have an EDP, meet with your Academic or Program Advisor prior to completing this appeal. An EDP outlines the courses you need to complete your Certificate or Degree at LCC. You can schedule an appointment with an Advisor in Academic Advising by calling 517-483-1200 (option 4) or visiting the Advising desk in the StarZone.
