Assess Your Math and English Skills
Once you've applied and have been accepted, you will need to assess your reading, writing, and math skills by taking a placement test. Feel you’re already there? Apply for a waiver based on your SAT/ACT scores, advanced placement courses, or previous degrees. LCC's Act College Code is 2019.

Experience LCC. Students are required to complete orientation before signing up for classes. Orientation is free and you can attend online or in person.

You can register at orientation, online in the convenience of your home, or through kiosks at select campus locations. The days, times, and basic information on all of our courses are listed online and through a printed course schedule book.
Students planning to transfer to LCC should have transcripts sent to LCC from other colleges as soon as you have applied for admission.
Visit our Admissions webpage for more directions on incoming transcripts.
