Pat DeWitt started his 43 year aviation career at Francis Aviation in Lansing in 1971. Pat retired from the Navy in 2003 where he was an airframe mechanic, Flight Engineer flying on P-3 Orion's (sub hunters) and a parachute rigger. Pat has worked for Kalitta Air, on Boeing 747 cargo aircraft, and for Fargo Jet Center, in Fargo, North Dakota, as a member of an eight man maintenance team working on corporate aircraft. Pat also worked standby maintenance for all the major airlines and attended Beechcraft King Air School where he completed service training with all of the air carriers flying into Fargo. During his free time, Pat enjoys traveling in his camper, fishing and also container gardening.
