The overall objective of IT governance "is to understand the issues and the strategic importance of IT, so that enterprise can sustain operations and implement the strategies required to extend its activities into the future." ³
IT governance at Lansing Community College is facilitated through the following three groups:
- Information Technology Advisory Council (ITAC)
- Academic Technology Forum (ATF)
- System Operations Coordinating Committee (SOCC)
