Information Technology Services (ITS)

Information Technology Services (ITS) is a division of five departments working together to provide and sustain dependable, accessible, and responsive computing services to the LCC Community. 

  • Enterprise Systems: Consists of five teams (Banner Support, Database Administration, Application Administration, Portal Administration, and Application Development) with the primary responsibility for the development, support and administration of the College's enterprise-class software applications. 
    Location: TLC

  • Personal Computing, Network, and Telecommunication Services: The PC Operations team installs, supports and maintains all PCs, laptops, tablets, and printers owned by LCC.  The Network team designs, supports and maintains the cabling equipment that make up the network (wired and wireless) infrastructure on and between LCC campuses.  The Telecommunications team supports and maintains the campus phone system, LCC issued cell phones, and call center operations.

  • Information Security and Infrastructure Support: The Data Center team manages and maintains the servers and data storage equipment in the two LCC data centers.  The Information Security team responds to security incidents and evaluates and monitors information security and compliance risks and recommends action to address these risks.

  • Media Services: Consists of three teams (Media Creation and Design, Classroom Services and Engineering Services) and provides audio, visual and interactive instructional support to the College's students, faculty and staff.  The teams create media content used in instructional settings and for internal and external college communications, marketing and community relations.  The department supports the College's radio and television stations, maintains an inventory of portable audio/visual equipment for checkout, and supports the classroom teaching stations and related equipment.

  • Instructional and Technology Support Services: This department, known as Help Services, consists of two teams that provide Help Desk support to College students, faculty and staff and that manage the College's two computer labs.
