Phrase Searching
A phrase is a group of two or more words used as a unit. Examples:

  • market research
  • point-of-sale advertising
  • supply and demand

Phrase searching narrows your search to any entries that include the exact phrase.

"women consumers"
Quotation marks are most often used to indicate a phrase. The SIRS database and Google search engine both use quotation marks for phrase searching.
