Subject Directories: Library

There are many subject directories created by reference librarians who evaluate websites based on criteria of high quality and credibility.  These websites are then organized into subject guides so they may be more easily found and used in research. Usually each website listed is described in a brief annotation. Below are several examples.

Probably the largest collection of reliable, trustworthy, librarian-selected Internet resources available today. Also includes an option to sign up for a free weekly newsletter about the most recently selected sites.
