These directions are for the Windows XP operating system.

1. Click on the Start button.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Control Panel.
4. Select Display.
5. Click on the Settings tab.
6. In the screen resolutions area, move the slider to the left.
7. Click on Apply. Your screen will go dark for a moment.
8. Click on OK.
