Manufacturing Engineering Technology Systems
Today's
complex industrial machinery requires multi-skilled employees to keep systems
running smoothly and safely. Students in the Manufacturing
Engineering Technology Systems curriculum (METS) receive diverse hands-on
training in hydraulics, pneumatics, welding and rigging to prepare them for a
career as Manufacturing Maintenance Technicians.
LCC's West Campus is proud to offer state of the art lab facilities using industry standard equipment to better acquaint student's to "real life" projects and scenarios. Virtual welding and the introduction to Mechatronics are just a few of the exciting new technologies students' experience.
