LCC Launches New Website Aimed at Helping Businesses Thrive

 

LANSING 10/13/11 – Lansing Community College has launched “Your Business Solutions” (http://lcc.edu/yourbusiness/) – an interactive website designed as a “one-stop” tool that links local area businesses and budding entrepreneurs with services and expertise at LCC  and beyond.

 “We are pleased to have one place where all of the college’s services that support businesses can be found,” said Jean Morciglio, Dean of the Extended Learning and Professional Studies Division at LCC. “Our aim is to connect the wealth of services we provide at the College together  with business knowledge in our area with a goal of helping small business owners as well as corporations quickly gain the expertise they need to grow and prosper. “

The College intends to attract users to the site with up-to-date information on successful business practices and excellent local resources.  The site offers articles and blogs written by area experts that are updated regularly, as well as videos that feature business success stories.

The main goal of the site is to provide easy access to the latest and best knowledge and resources essential to encouraging success throughout the Greater Lansing business community. A Calendar of Events as well as Community Resources area show prominently on the site. Easy-to-use links provide help in finding new employees, connecting with faculty experts, meeting corporate training needs, and starting or growing a business
