LCC Police and Fire Academy Students to Graduate December 11 and 12

WHO:

LCC Police and Fire Academy students. The media and public are welcome to attend.

WHAT:

The 60th Lansing Community College Regional Fire Training Center will graduate 19 new State of Michigan certified firefighters. Typically several area Fire Chiefs will be in attendance as well as the graduates friends and families. The Apparatus Bays will also be open for the recruits to show their guests the equipment and training simulators.

The Police Academy is graduating 29 recruits (one of the largest academies in several years). Nine of the recruits already have jobs (seven with the Lansing Police Department and two with the Michigan State University Police Department). The Police Academy graduation includes Chiefs of Police from the greater Lansing area. The graduates who have secured jobs will wear their Department uniforms.
