Azima to be Sworn-in to LCC Board of Trustees on December 14

LANSING, MICH. - At the November 16 Board Meeting, the Lansing Community College (LCC) Board of Trustees selected Alex Azima to fill the open Trustee position created by the resignation of Dr. Judith Berry.
Azima, recently retired, was a physics professor at LCC for 31 years and served as the first Academic Senate President from 2013 - 2015.
Mr. Azima took the "Acceptance of Office" and "Oath of Office" as a member of the Board of Trustees on November 17. The official swearing-in ceremony will be held at the December 14 Board meeting. He will hold office until December 31, 2016.
