
Program Information
Overview
The program is comprised of two stages:
- Military Medic to Paramedic
- Paramedic to Registered Nurse (Advanced Standing RN Program)
Students who complete the first stage will be prepared to take the national paramedic licensing exam (NREMT). After the second stage a graduate will be prepared to take the national RN nursing licensing exam (NCLEX-RN).
Military Medic to Paramedic Program
- 28 weeks to complete paramedic education
- Traditional program 11-12 months
- 778 hours
- Traditional program 1058-hours
- Student awarded credit for previous military education and experience
Paramedic to Nurse Program
- 10 months to complete
- Traditional program 2 years
- Student awarded credit for paramedic education
