Weight Room

Main Campus - Gannon Building, Room 192

LCC's weight room is complete with Icarian, Cybex, Paramount, Hammer Strength and Morden machines, cardio equipment and over 10,000 pounds of free weights. The weight room offers ample selection for beginners to advanced students as well as expert instruction in the use of the equipment and the safest, best ways to achieve students' goals.

Weight Training Classes (PFWT)

We offer a variety of weight training classes allowing students to learn about safety, the proper use of equipment, muscle strengthening and endurance. Classes are available for beginners as well as advanced weight training students. Click here for course and registration information.

Membership

For current students, the price is $35 per semester for Fall, Spring and Summer.  For alumni, faculty and staff, the price is $40 per semester for Fall, Spring and Summer.

Also, there is a Fitness Center/Weight Room Combined Membership.  This membership would include the two fitness centers (Main and West campuses) and the Weight Room (GB 192).  For current students, the price is $80 per semester for Fall and Spring, and $65 for Summer.  For alumni, faculty and staff, the price is $95 per semester for Fall, Spring and Summer.  For first time sign up, there is a one-time $20 initiation fee.

Membership Requirements

Fitness Center members must have current student status, be a current faculty or staff, or have taken at least one class through Lansing Community College.  Current students must be enrolled in at least one class in order to be eligible for the membership.

How to Enroll

A membership packet can be picked up at the Physical Fitness and Wellness Department Office located in the Health and Human Services Building, Room 108.  Forms should be returned with payment to the Physical Fitness and Wellness Department.

Weight Room hours are for members or students enrolled in a weight training class for the 2013 semester ONLY.
