LCC Radio turns 20!
11, 2014 marks the 20th anniversary of WLNZ's first
broadcast to Lansing. Before that, the station existed in
various forms; a radio enthusiasts' club to the classroom
and a closed circuit broadcast entertaining the LCC students
and staff. We'll be celebrating those twenty years by
chatting with individuals who have been involved with the
station over the years and contributed to helping us get to
this point. Stop by
and check out "20 Years, 20 Faces" and catch up with names
from the past and presentt. We wouldn't be here today
without our members - THANKS FOR 20 GREAT YEARS!!
The 16th Annual Homelessness Marathon on LCC Radio

If you missed this year's February 19th broadcast, you can
find out more about this annual awareness campaign at their
broadcast, has originated from Detroit,
Kansas City, and Katrina-ravaged Mississippi, among other
places and features live in-depth discussions with homeless
people. We hope to bring you this event once again in 2015.
Have you had a chance to try The Appetizer?

The Appetizer, D. Grant Smith. This program out of Abilene,
Texas, celebrated its tenth anniversary in September 2013.
The Anniversary Show featured in-studio sessions from
William Fitzsimmons,George Pendergrass, and Elliott Park,
with music from artists like Iron & Wine, The Civil Wars,
Ingrid Michaelson, and Clarensau making its way onto the

Thanks for all the fun!!!
to everyone who made it to the 8th Annual Cardboard Classic.
A crowd of 250+ stood defiant upon the hills of Gier
Community Center against the forces of Old Man Winter -- and
we had a great time! With a total of 43 sleds and 45
entries, the Cardboard Classic hit its highest level of
competition yet! Some of the event highlights included a
Star Wars Imperial Walker, an ominous looking scorpion, a
MSU Spartan chariot (complete with horse), zombies and
plants, a doll house, and a handle bar moustache! Check out
