Regional Science Olympiad for Grades 6-12

The Regional Science Olympiad (RSO) took place at Lansing Community College on Saturday, March 19, 2016. Science Olympiad is a national rigorous standards-based science competition with yearly rotating events, always representing the various components of STEM education. Teams of up to 15 students compete in events testing knowledge in areas as wide-ranging as insect identification to Laser shoots, and from bridge building to Mag-Lev vehicle construction. Scores are accumulated in all events with the top teams moving on to state level competition.

Congratulations to our 2016 Regional Winners, who will be competing at the State Science Olympiad Competition at Michigan State University on Saturday, April 30, 2016.
