'Start here - Get there' offers visits to universities
Are you thinking of transferring to a university after attending Lansing Community College? Participate in the "Start here - Get There" visitation program. This is your chance to learn more about the campus life and atmosphere at the university you are interested in attending. Participants meet at LCC and take a bus to a university. There they receive a personal tour, learn about admissions and enjoy lunch on campus. A $5 deposit is required to hold a space. For more information on these tours, contact the Student Life Office in Gannon Building 218 during normal business hours, or call 517-483-1285.
Student Advisory Committee to the President meetings slated
The LCC Student Advisory Committee to the President will meet monthly during the 2012-13 school year, beginning in the fall. LCC President Brent Knight is tentatively scheduled to attend each of these meetings to gather opinions from students about various topics. All students are welcome.
