NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents an Articulation (partnership) Agreement between
Lansing Community College and the Atlanta University Center (Clark Atlanta
University, Morehouse College, and Spelman College) that facilitates the
transfer of LCC students to programs within each of these schools. Students
planning to enroll in a program which will transfer to an AUC college are
asked to contact Tonajala Eaton, Academic Advisor, at (517) 483-1053 or
email eatont2@lcc.edu. This articulated agreement does not have a specified
expiration date.
2. Students are encouraged to meet with the individual listed in Note 1 when
making course selections.
3. Select 3-4 credits from: HUMS 120,211,212,213,214; THEA 110.
4. Select credits from: PHIL 151,152,153,211,212,260; RELG 211,212,241,242,250.
5. Complete two semesters of intermediate foreign language from:
FREN/GRMN/JAPN/SPAN 201 & 202.
6. Complete one physical education activity course.
7. Mathematics - Non-Science/Math majors may complete MATH 112,121;
science/math/business/psychology majors must complete MATH 121,122.
8. Admission Requirements
a. Minimum cumulative grade point average for transfer - 2.5
b. Minimum of 58 semester hours of eligible transfer credit. Courses with
grades less than 2.0 will not transfer.
c. Application deadlines: Fall - March 1; Spring - November 1.
d. Courses that are more than eight (8) years old will not transfer.
9. Students who complete the coursework for this transfer guide may be eligible
to receive the LCC General Associate Degree. Please contact Shantoria Vance
(see Note 1) for additional information. Students seeking an LCC associate
degree must fulfill specific graduation. See the LCC catalog online at

10. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
