The following is a guide for students who wish to begin their coursework at
Lansing Community College and transfer into any program at Bennett College.
Bennett College is a four-year liberal arts women's college in Greensboro, North
Carolina. Founded in 1873, this historically black institution began as a normal
school to provide education to newly emancipated salves. It became a women's
college in 1926 and currently serves roughly 600 undergraduates.

NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents the Articulation (partnership) Agreement
between Lansing Community College (LCC) and Bennett College (BC). This
agreement facilitates the transfer of eligible LCC credits into a Bennett
College baccalaureate degree program for qualified LCC students. Students
planning to enroll in a program that will transfer to Bennett College are
encouraged to contact the LCC/HBCU Coordinator (see below). This articulated
agreement expires in January 2014.
2. Admissions and Academic Requirements:
a. A minimum 2.0 GPA and good standing.
b. No course with a grade below 2.0 will transfer.
c. A minimum of 58 transferable semester hours is required for junior status.
3. Forty hours of volunteer community service (which may be fulfilled over the
four years of study) is also required.
