NOTES:
1. This transfer guide represents an Articulation (partnership) Agreement between
Lansing Community College (LCC) and Lawrence Technological University (LTU).
This agreement facilitates the transfer of LCC courses as 75 credit hours
toward the completion of a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
(BSIT) degree at LTU. Students will complete a minimum of 45 credit hours for
the BSIT degree at LTU (available at the LCC University Center). This
articulated agreement expires May 2015.
2. This guide includes courses from the LCC Computer Networking and Information
Security program, allowing students to simultaneously earn an Associate in
Business degree from LCC while preparing to transfer to LTU.
3. See the MACRAO Transfer Agreement for appropriate LCC course selection.
4. General education requirements may be waived by one of the following methods:
a. Satisfy the MACRAO Transfer Agreement prior to transfer - transcript must be
stamped "MACRAO Agreement Satisfied".
b. Course by course transfer as indicated on this guide.
c. Satisfactory completion of an articulation agreement.
5. The Writing Proficiency Exam (COM 3000) must be taken during the first
semester at LTU. COM 1001 - University Seminar - is excused.
6. Select and complete the courses for one of the following specialties:
a. Enterprise/Infrastructure - CITF 225, CITN 115,222,224 and 228;
b. Network Systems Management - CITF 225, CITN 222,235,250 and 255;
c. Information Security Management - CITF 250,280, CITN 235,244 and 282;
d. Cisco Certified Network Associate - CITN 228,240,244 and 245.
7. Students who complete the coursework of this transfer guide may be eligible
to receive an LCC Associate Degree. Please contact the LCC Program Advisor
for additional information. Students seeking an LCC associate degree must
fulfill specific graduation requirements. See the LCC Online Catalog for
details.
8. This transfer guide requires basic skill levels in mathematics, reading, and
writing. To determine accurate course placement, students should take the
Computerized Placement Tests in the LCC Assessment Center (GB 200) prior to
