Thank you for your interest in Lansing Community College.  Below are the application materials and other helpful information for the Board of Trustees vacancy.  The filing deadline is 12 Noon on Monday, January 6, 2003.  The following  forms must be completed and returned to the Police and Public Safety Department by the filing deadline:

The Board of Trustees will be meeting on January 7, 2003 to reduce the pool of applicants.  If you are forwarded in the process, you will be notified immediately.  The Board is tentatively scheduled to hold a special meeting to conduct interviews on Friday, January 24.  The time of the meeting is to be determined.

Candidates must be 18 years of age or older, a resident of the LCC district, and a registered voter.  The person appointed to this unpaid position will hold the office until June 30, 2003. If they want an opportunity to keep the seat, then he or she must run for election in the next regularly scheduled school election, which will be held in June 2003.
