Spaces Still Available in Early LCC's Half-Day Preschool Program

LANSING 11/16/12 – Spaces are still available for half-day preschool education at the Early Learning Children’s Community Center (Early LCC) at Lansing Community College.

Early LCC opened in the fall of 2010, providing full-day care for infants, toddlers and young children up to age five.  The addition of half-day preschool this fall is helping to meet the demand for part-time care.

Space is limited and grant funding is available for qualified students including free preschool spots for eligible four-year-olds.

Early LCC provides engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that encourage children to be confident, competent learners. It also provides learning opportunities for LCC students, integrating classroom study with real-world experiences in child and family development. It was named a 5 Star Program by Michigan’s Great Start to Quality initiative, distinguishing Early LCC as meeting the highest standards for quality childhood programming in the state.
